
The Acoustic Jazz Trio, a variation on the pianoless units championed by Sonny Rollins, recorded for Jewel in 1980. Besides tenor saxophonist Paul Plummer, bassist Lou Lausche and drummer Ron Enyard were the other members. Their music was neither adventurous nor disastrous, simply solid versions of oft-performed standards like "Willow Weep for Me" and "It Don't Mean a Thing.
